Maithree Wickramasinghe is Professor in English and the Founder Director of the Centre for Gender Studies at the University of Kelaniya. She is also a visiting professor at other HEIs including the University of Colombo and the University of Sussex. As a feminist scholar-activist and an international keynote speaker on gender studies, she has been working for institutional change in higher education and academia.
