Applications are now open for the 13th Two Week Feminist Capacity Building Course on Gender, Human Rights, and Peace organised by Sangat Bangladesh, Pragroshor & Swayam. This two-week residential course is designed to offer participants clarity on and a greater understanding of concepts related to gender, justice, poverty, sustainable development, peace, democracy, and human rights. It also leads to meaningful and transformative cross-border networking, friendship, and collaboration.
This year’s course will be held at Hope Center, Kaliyakoir, Bangladesh from 12 September to 27 September 2019 and the language of the course is Bangla. The course is open to people of all gender identities from Bangladesh and India. To apply, please send a CV and a letter detailing why you want to participate in the course within 1000 words.
We would also appreciate support in identifying and nominating strong applicants who would strengthen the women’s movement upon their return to their organizations and institutions. Please do share this call for announcements with suitable candidates.
